Cold laser sessions (15 minutes each) are recommended to be bought in packages of 5 or 10 due to cumulative effects of multiple sessions. Hormone panels, hair mineral analyses, and neurotransmitter tests may be purchased for $30 from Integrative Oriental Medicine. Each panel has a fee payable to its laboratory for processing which is due to the laboratory at the time the test is mailed. These fees vary depending on the laboratory and type of test that is performed. Test results are sent to Integrative Oriental Medicine after the test has been processed (usually 4-6 weeks) at which time the patient will need to schedule a 30 minute consultation to discuss test results.
Product sales are not included in service fees.

Laser light stimulates tissue growth and reduces healing time for injuries. Sessions last 5-15 minutes and are recommended in combination with motor point acupuncture. Motor point acupuncture releases tight muscles via electrical stimulation. Treatment is not appropriate for patients with pacemakers, defibrillators, or a history of seizures. Before needles are applied, the face is cupped with silicone cups that do not leave marks. Cupping increases facial blood flow and muscle tone. Small acupuncture needles then are placed along wrinkle lines, promoting collagen formation. The treatment is finished with laser or LED therapy to further enhance collagen formation. Results can be observed after a single treatment, but continuing weekly or bimonthly treatment is recommended for best results and to maintain improved appearance.

Areas of cellulite are cupped using vacuum assistance. The powerful suction of the area breaks bands of connective tissue and reestablish proper lymphatic drainage and blood flow, thus reducing the appearance of cellulite. Cupping marks are visible for about 7 days after treatment. Cellulite reduction can be observed after a single treatment, but more profound changes are observed after 3-5 treatments. Spider veins and varicose veins are pricked to bleed. Suction cups are then placed over the areas. The slight damage created by the pricking prompts new, stronger vascular wall formation, and the suction draws healing mediators to the area in addition to releasing pressure within the veins. Balance and Gait Improvement Acupuncture

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) involves tapping on acupoints and has been shown to reduce anxiety, phobias, PTSD, and stress. Once trained, the patient can self treat with EFT as often as needed. Sessions last 30 minutes. 30 minute individual session, $45. Group rates apply.
Tai Chi and Qigong are forms of moving meditation that have been shown to relieve stress, aid sleep, assist in disease recovery, and improve overall health. 60 minute individual session, $100. Session lengths are variable, and group rates apply. Inquire for pricing.
